How to Apply:

  • Employment application will only be accepted in person at scheduled Paul Graham Drilling Application Days

  • You will be required to submit your application in person at an Application Submittal Event.

  • You may arrange for an application appointment by calling the office.


Keep in mind when applying:

  • Drilling can be a seven day a week, twenty-four hour a day operation. Although drilling shifts are nor mally eight hours, you may assigned to daylight, nighttime, or early morning shifts. On occasion you may be asked to fill in and work an extra cover shift.

  • We work in many locations throughout California and other states and if hired, your work site may be in remote locations. You will be required to provide your own transportation to your job site.

  • After initial screening you will be required to pass a pre-application drug test and if hired you will be subject to random drug testing.

  • If selected you may be required to submit to and pass a pre-employment physical screening.

  • If hired you will be required to complete continuing on the job and online training.

Job Opportunities

  • RIG WORKERS

    Rig Hands: Floors, Motors, Derricks are responsible for the duties of general manual labor on and off the rig. As well as supports and assists other members of the drilling crew during all rig operations.
    • Must have a valid drivers license
    • Must be able to pass drug screening and fit test
    • Reliable transportation
    • Must be willing to travel
    • Must be willing to work weekends and/or nights
    • Must be 18 years of age

  • Field Safety Specialist

    • Demonstrated experience working with safety regulatory standards and compliance programs;
    • Demonstrated experience working with safety regulatory standards and compliance practices as they relate to upstream oil and gas;
    • Knowledge of safety regulatory requirements;
    • Experience working to support EHS initiatives;
    • Demonstrated track record of engaging with stakeholders to understand interests and priorities;
    • Flexible to work in an evolving regulatory environment;
    • Project management skills;
    • Excellent communication skills;

  • Oilfield Mechanic

    • High school diploma or its equivalent
    • Class B CDL
    • Reliable transportation
    • 2 or more years oilfield pumping services experience.
    • Safe Driving record and valid driver's license.
    • Ability to work independently, unsupervised, and be dependable.
    • Ability to work overtime.
  • Truck Drivers

    • Oilfield experience preferred
    • Class A License
