2020 OPEN ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

2020 Benefits Open Enrollment runs from 12/09 - 12/26/19

Before you begin, please be sure you have the following


Your date of hire and job title

SSN, date of birth and addresses of all enrolling

If applicable, Medicare ID number and effective date, current carrier name, policy number and start date, primary care physician information

Please review this checklist prior to completing your Benefit Elections/Changes.

NOTE: If supporting documents are required for your election/change, AND NO DOCUMENTION IS RECEIVED WITHIN 7 DAYS IN THE BENEFITS OFFICE, YOUR ELECTION/CHANGE WILL NOT BE APPROVED!

For Medical and/or Dental Enrollment:

If enrolling a spouse – a copy of your marriage certificate must be provided within 7 days of your election.

If enrolling a domestic partner – a copy of State of California Certificate of Registration of Domestic Partnership must be provided within 7 days of your election.

1. To enroll, or waive coverage:

Login to MY EMPLOYEE PORTAL and use the attached 2020 Online Enrollment - Employee Guide.

If you have already created an account, login using the username and password that your created. If you are new to the system, Click on "Create Account" and follow the instructions for registration. to navigate the enrollment portal and complete your elections.

2. To Elect Pre-Tax or Post-Tax Benefit Deduction:

Pre-Tax - Click Pre-Tax Health Benefit Deduction complete and sign or,

Post-Tax - Click Post-Tax Health Benefit Deduction complete and sign.

3. Complete 2020 Employee Information Sheet:

Click PGD 2020 Employee Information Sheet complete and sign.

Click RC 2020 Employee Information Sheet complete and sign.

4. To update your IRS Form W-4 for 2020:

Click 2020 IRS Form W-4

* Employees who elect to change their withholdings on January 1, 2020 are required to submit a new 2020 IRS Form W-4 Employees who have submitted Form W-4 in any year before 2020 are not required to submit a new form merely because of the redesign. Employers will continue to compute withholding based on the information from the employee’s most recently submitted Form W-4.
